The Agrarian Kitchen’s garden is at the heart of everything we do, providing the foundation for the agrarian philosophies that drive our restaurant, classes and kiosk.
Located just metres from the restaurant, the one-acre walled space is food-focused in its design, featuring a wide array of seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as a berry patch, greenhouse, shade house, nursery, orchards and citrus grove.
Although the garden serves many functions, its primary aim is to provide high quality, nutrient-dense produce that dictates the menus and drives creativity in our kitchen and classes.
Join us for a one-hour guided garden tour at 11.30am most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, to learn about no-dig market gardening, composting, berry growing, greenhouse production and much more.
WINTER GARDEN TOUR HOURS
During the month of July, garden tours will only be held on Fridays.

WHAT TO BRING
Summer: A sun hat is essential, as Tasmania’s UV rays are extremely strong—even on cloudy days.
Rain or shine: An umbrella is recommended for rain protection or as a shade source in summer.

Our garden tours run most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.ARRIVAL & TIMING
Please arrive at 11:15 am for a one-hour tour starting promptly at 11:30 am.
If you are running late, the tour will proceed without you.
You are welcome to join the group when you arrive.WHERE TO MEET
In rainy weather: Meet on the verandah entrance to the kiosk.
In good weather: Meet on the grass area by the white “Meet Here” garden tour sign.PRICING
Adults: $30 per person
Children (ages 9–17): $15 per person
Children (8 and under): Free
A booking fee applies to all ticket purchases.PAYMENT POLICY
To maintain the intimate nature of our garden tours, full payment is required at the time of booking.
