In February 2008, The Agrarian Kitchen was one of seven tourism projects to receive funding thanks to the State Government’s Tourism Promotion Plan (TPP). 

The Agrarian Kitchen was officially opened on 21st November 2008 by the Minister for Tourism, Michelle O’Byrne.
